What is Channel 4?
Channel 4 is a free UK streaming service, licensed for viewers in the United Kingdom. Viewers in Spain cannot open it directly, because the service checks the IP address and blocks connections from outside the UK. BritVPN presents a UK address so the app treats you as a UK viewer.
Why Channel 4 is blocked in Spain
Channel 4's help pages say programmes stream only in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Spain is outside that area, so Spanish broadband is refused, and Channel 4 adds that a UK SIM card used abroad won't get you in either.
Can Channel 4 stream outside the UK?
