South Africans used to get plenty of ITV locally. ITV Choice, ITV's international channel, left DStv in June 2020, and Coronation Street and Emmerdale ended on M-Net City in early 2021 when the licence wasn't renewed.
Showmax, which streamed Love Island UK, closed on 30 April 2026. Some titles moved to DStv Stream, but MultiChoice said licensing stopped others moving, so check there before assuming a show has gone.
