The premise of this BBC hit show is simply brilliant. Race Across The World takes viewers on the trip of a lifetime, following our contestants as they embark on an epic and adrenaline-fuelled adventure, travelling into the unknown without the trappings of modern life.
By leaving their smartphones, internet access and credit cards at home, contestants are forced to be savvy as their try to find their way to the destination. If they run out of the cash given to them at the start of their trip, they'll need to earn more. By hook or by crook, contestants are forced to use their skill, ingenuity, and determination will be tested to the extreme as they race through some of the world’s most beautiful scenery.
The programme Originally aired on BBC Two but was bumped up to show on BBC One following impressive audience figures. Once again in the third season, there will be nine episodes: eight episodes on the race followed by a reunion special.
