FIFA World Cup 2026 — 16:15

Coverage of the seventh round-of-16 match (Kick-off 5.00pm), which takes place at Atlanta Stadium in the USA. The fans in attendance will hope for a more entertaining affair than in the corresponding clash in Al Rayyan four years ago, as Morocco and Spain played out a monotonous 0-0 draw over 120 minutes, in which the Spanish dominated possession but did little with it as few chances were created. The tie came to life in the subsequent penalty shootout as the 2010 champions failed to convert any of their three attempts with goalkeeper Yassine Bounou saving from Sergio Busquets and Carlos Soler after Pablo Sarabia first hit the post, while the Atlas Lions scored three of their four penalties to progress. By missing their three spot kicks, Spain became only the second team to not score in a World Cup penalty shoot-out, following in the footsteps of Switzerland who lost to Ukraine in 2006 by the same 3-0 scoreline
