SAS Rogue Heroes is a six-part series created made for BBC One. It is an exhilarating story of renegade men taking monumental risks in extraordinary circumstances from the creator of Peaky Blinders,

Written and executive produced by Steven Knight and directed by Tom Shankland, the series is rich with action and authentic set-pieces. A fantastic cast has been assembled to tell the story, with Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Allen, Sofia Boutella and Dominic West being the leading men and women.

The action is set in Cairo in 1941 during a troubling period in the conflict. The British Army is losing the war against Germany and the Axis powers in Europe and North Africa. David Stirling - an eccentric young officer, hospitalised after a training exercise went wrong - is frustrated and bored.

David is convinced that traditional commando units don’t work in the modern conflict. He creates a radical plan that flies in the face of all accepted rules of warfare.
