What is this HBO x BBC Collaboration about?

BBC iPlayer’s reputation as an archive of world-class drama is set to be reaffirmed with the release of the BBC/HBO drama series Industry.

According to its director Lena Dunham (Girls 2012-2017), Industry will be an eight-part miniseries exploring ‘the cutthroat world of international finance’.

This series appears as a more serious (or at least more deadpan), and somewhat grittier affair than The Wolf of Wall Street.

The show will follow a group of graduates, as they attempt to navigate their ‘new school’ at the top of the London skyline–where ruthless depravity, backstabbing, dog-eat-dog Darwinian values, are your surefire way to a six-figure-plus salary.
