What is this new BBC drama about?
The Control Room tells the story of Gabe, an ordinary man who works as an emergency call handler for the Scottish Ambulance Service in Glasgow. What we know so far in regards to the plot is;
"Gabe's world is turned upside down one night when he receives a desperate life-and-death call from a woman who appears to know him. As Gabe finds himself under pressure to figure out who she is, he ends up making a decision that threatens to have devastating consequences."
The Control Room will air over three episodes. We can’t wait to see this story brought to life by this brilliantly talented cast and crew.
Who is in the cast of The Control Room?
Having been first announced early in 2021, there wasn't much information to speak of regarding those to appear in front of the camera. Casting has now been confirmed in full for the upcoming drama.
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D star Iain De Caestecker will be in the lead role of Gabe. Filming alongside Iain in his hometown of Glasgow is Joanna Vanderham (Dancing On The Edge), Sharon Rooney (Finding Alice), Daniel Portman (Vigil), amongst many other talented Scottish actors.
